Booster meeting – Monday, Feb 9th at 7 pm
Picture day is Feb 10th Tuesday- during class– full uniform!
Class Notes is coming up — March 7, 2015. Tickets will be for sale soon.
Here is the order form for Class Notes Shout Outs, and advertising. If you know anyone who may want to purchase an add, please forward to them. These are due Friday, Feb 13th This is a great way for our school to make extra money.
I need someone to be in charge of the raffles for Class Notes. We have a mini iPad donated already, but need some more items. Please contact me!

Please mark your calendars-
- First Booster Meeting- Monday- Sept. 15th @ 7 pm in Band Room
- Wed. Sept. 17th- Back to School Night- Jazz 1 will be performing
- Saturday, Sept. 20th Beach day get together at Bolsa Chica Beach
Just a reminder we have a Parent Booster meeting this Monday, March 31st at 7 pm. From 7- 7:30 is for everyone. Jazz 3 parents we will discuss a festival in San Diego. Then at 7:30 is our Reno meeting for Jazz 1 & 2 parents.
We are confirmed for all three bands to play at the Mount Sac Festival on May 3. This is on our Jazz band website but not on the calendar that was given at the first of the year. Please mark it down.
I am still waiting on the Class Notes DVD. Once they are done I will pass them out to those who ordered them.
Our Jazz Banquet is on Tues. May 27th 6:00 pm at Old Ranch Country Club.

Here are the highlights from our Monday Feb 3 Booster Meeting:
We want to welcome April Street as our Secretary- Kara Cruz had to step down.
Don’s Treasurers report: We have collected $19,000 so far, but are short $5700.00 If you are not sure if you are up to date on your payments Don can let you know. Suggested donatation was $300.00 to cover buses, festivals, music charts, instruments, ect) We will also need a treasurer next year, since his son is a Senior this year.

Jazz Banquet will be on Friday, May 2nd at 6 pm at Old Ranch Country Club- more info later
Class Notes: Need volunteers: March 1, ( ticket sales, raffles, pass out programs, set up and take down) Tickets are on sale online seatyourself.biz/losaljazz Each student must have a ticket as well. Please ask anyone you know that would be able to place an Ad in our program. Program ad’s help of set the cost of printing the program.
Purchase DVD of Winter Concert: If you would like to purchase a copy let Christine know. They are $10.00

- Each school will have 30-40 minutes for a sound check that afternoon- time: TBA
Reno: Patricia Crew: Jazz 1 & 2
April 10-13 This is Patricia’s last year as coordinator- she asked for a volunteer to work with her this year. She will be sending out a packet next week with your child: they will include these forms- An email will be sent out so you know to ask your child for it. Packet due on March 15th

6. Prior to trip check list

8. buffet and Grand Sierra Sunday- prior to going home $15.00
9. breakdown of spending money ( arcade, food etc)
volunteer’s needed Wed Night check in 5-7 pm Each student needs to bring a case of water and one large box of snacks
There are rooms for parents for 3 nights- $471.00 This amount needs to be paid in full by March 3, before we release extra rooms
