Donations for your Jazz Student

donateThe Los Alamitos High School Jazz Band program has had great success over the past several years with the hard work and dedication of Mr. Rush and the student jazz band members.  In order to continue this success the jazz band program must rely on the donations from jazz band parents and various fundraisers.  The parent donations make up the majority of the funding for the jazz band.  The school district does not provide any funding for the Jazz Band with the exception of paying for Mr. Rush’s salary.

At the start of the school year the Jazz Band Booster Board asked that each family donate $300 to ensure adequate funding for the Jazz Band program.  This money is used to pay for festival fee’s, bus transportation to the festivals, truck rentals, instrument replacement and repair, and sectional coaching.

For those parents that have not made a donation, we ask that you reconsider and make a donation to Jazz program.  This donation will directly benefit the program and your jazz student.

Thank you,

Jeff Cooper
