Thank you for those who attended the Booster meeting on Monday night. For those who were unable to attend, here is some information for you.
See the flyer for our CPK day/night on Wed. September 24th. Our fundraiser is all day and until the evening. Please pass this along to any of your friends and family to support our Jazz Band.
Picnic date change: We needed to change the date again, due to conflicts with Marching Band ( which includes some of our Jazz band students ) Final date Saturday Oct. 4th 1-4 pm place tba
I am still looking for some volunteers. I need someone in charge of ordering the bus for our students and equipment truck for festivals. Our festivals are mainly in March. This job is phone calls or email to reserve truck and bus. It shouldn’t take up a lot of time. This does not include Reno, we have that taken care of. Please let me know if this is something you could help out with.
Uniforms: Jazz 1 girls do not have to wear a tie anymore. If any girls wanted to wear a black skirt they may. It must be below the knee and appropriate If you have any other questions regarding uniforms let me know.
We will need to place our order for the Jazz logo t-shirts soon. They are required to have these shirts as part of their uniform. All orders and payment need to be in by Friday, Sept. 26th The cost is $12.00 place order form in box- If you do not have a form make sure your child’s name, size and what jazz band they are in along with payment. Sizes: XSmall, Small, Med, Large, XL and XXL.
Donations : Suggested donation is $300.00 This pays for transportation for festivals, sheet music, instruments, and many other items to keep our Jazz Band functioning. Payment 1 due $150.00 by Oct. 15th 2nd payment due $150.00 on Nov. 15th Reno- $365.00 due March 15th ( Jazz 1-2)
Our treasurer Jeff Cooper does have the ability to take credit cards. Thank you for those who did at our meeting. If you did pay with a credit card could you let me know. Jeff will be out of town for a few weeks, and I would like to keep track once it is in. I think there were a few of you.
Reno– Jazz 1 & 2 are going. Soon Jazz 3 will get an email about if they want to attend or not- including the pro’s and con’s of going.
You may place any donations, order forms in the class lock box. Our next Booster meeting is scheduled for Nov. 17th at 7 pm in room 519.
